The International Conference on Higher Education brings together researchers, university teachers, academic leaders, doctoral students and policymakers to examine how universities teach, lead and manage in a period of rapid change. Taking place in Oxford, United Kingdom, on 14–16 May 2027, this international higher education conference welcomes work from every discipline and every type of institution, from research-intensive universities to colleges, community and vocational providers and online institutions.
The programme of this higher education conference is built from research submitted by participants. Every abstract is assessed through double-blind peer review by the Scientific Committee, and accepted work is presented in oral, poster or live virtual sessions. Accepted and registered abstracts are published in the Abstract Book with an ISBN; eligible full papers are published in the conference proceedings with an ISSN and a DOI. As a higher education research conference, the event values empirical studies, theoretical contributions, evaluations of practice and comparative or policy-focused work equally.
If you are planning where to present in the coming year, this higher education conference 2027 offers a focused, international audience, a transparent review process and clear publication routes. Authors who wish to present should begin with the call for papers; anyone who prefers to attend without presenting can register as a Listener. The About page explains the conference's scope as a university teaching conference and a higher education leadership conference.
