Help & Support: Your Questions Answered
Submission & Registration
What does an abstract need to include?
An abstract of 150–250 words with three to five keywords, stating the research objectives, methods and key findings on a topic within higher education. See the Author Guidelines.
When is the abstract submission deadline?
23 April 2027.
How is my work reviewed?
Every submission receives double-blind peer review by the Scientific Committee. Work must be original, not under review elsewhere and approved by all co-authors, and may be screened with Crossref Similarity Check powered by iThenticate. You receive the decision by email within 7–14 business days.
Can I submit the abstract now and the full paper later?
Yes. A full paper is optional. Submit the abstract for review now and, if you wish to be considered for the proceedings, send the full paper a few weeks after the conference using the link in your confirmation email.
How do I revise my submission or send my full paper later?
Use Update an Existing Submission and quote your original submission ID and email. If reviewers requested revisions, follow the deadline in their email. For a change you initiate yourself, check the update window shown on the page. Later full papers are sent a few weeks after the conference. Sending an update does not mean it has been accepted or applied; wait for our team's confirmation. Please do not submit the same paper again as a new submission.
When is my presentation place confirmed?
After acceptance, once your registration and payment have been verified.
Can I attend without submitting a paper?
Yes. Register as a Listener to attend in person and follow the programme without presenting.
Which co-authors need to register and pay?
Only co-authors who attend. They are added in the registration form at the co-author rate and receive their own badge and certificate. Co-authors who do not attend pay nothing.
Can I register on behalf of a colleague?
Yes. Choose "Someone else" at the start of the registration form. You receive the payment confirmation and receipt; the attendee receives their badge, certificate, programme and joining details.
Can I bring additional attendees who are not presenting?
Yes. Register as a Listener and add additional listeners in the form; each pays the listener rate and receives their own badge and certificate.
How do I correct my registration details or request a missing document?
Contact the conference team with the attendee's name, registration email and order/registration reference if available. Tell us which detail needs correcting or which document is missing. If someone registered on your behalf, identify the attendee separately from the booking contact. Please do not register or pay again to request a correction or another copy.
Payment & Discounts
Where can I see the registration fees and payment options?
On the Registration page, which lists the current fees, categories and deadlines. → Registration fees
What registration deadlines apply?
Early registration closes on 11 January 2027. Registration closes on 4 May 2027.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Debit or credit card and PayPal account payments, both processed by PayPal, and bank wire transfer with a receipt upload. No on-site payment is available.
How long does a bank transfer take to confirm?
Allow 3–5 business days after the transfer for our team to match the payment. Your registration is shown as awaiting verification until then; your place is confirmed once the payment is matched.
Can I request an invoice?
Yes. Provide the required billing details before making payment.
Can my university receive a pro forma invoice before paying?
Yes. Use Request a Pro Forma Invoice and provide your institution's billing details, the attendee names and the registration required. Our team will check the fees and email the invoice. After your institution pays, complete the normal registration form and upload the transfer receipt. Requesting or receiving the invoice does not complete registration or reserve a place. Please check the invoice's validity date before arranging payment.
Are group arrangements or discounts available?
Any approved discount code can be entered in the registration form. If you are registering a group, contact us before registering and we will confirm what applies.
Are accommodation and travel included?
No. Participants arrange and pay for their own accommodation, travel, transfers and visa costs.
What are the cancellation terms?
CANCELLATION POLICY — In case of any cancellation or non-attendance, unfortunately the registration fees are not refundable. Substitution by a colleague and switching from in-person to virtual participation are possible under the conditions in the Terms & Conditions.
Conference Information
Where and when does the conference take place?
At Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford, OX1 1HP, United Kingdom, from 14 to 16 May 2027.
What presentation formats are available?
Oral and poster presentations in person, and live virtual presentations online. The Scientific Committee may assign Oral or Poster for in-person submissions; a Virtual selection remains Virtual.
How should I prepare for my presentation?
Oral: prepare for a standard 15-minute presentation allocation with slides in PowerPoint or PDF, and arrive early to test your file. Poster: prepare an A1 poster (594 × 841 mm, portrait), print it and bring it with you. Virtual: test your internet connection, microphone, camera and screen sharing before your live session; joining details are emailed to registered presenters. Your exact slot and Q&A arrangements are sent with your presenter instructions. → Mode of Presentation
Can I use AI when preparing my submission?
For manuscript writing, generative AI may be used only to improve the language and readability of your own text, and its use must be disclosed — the tool, its purpose and your review of the output. Basic spelling, grammar, punctuation and reference-formatting checks need no disclosure. AI cannot be an author or replace original research. If AI is part of your research method, describe it in the methodology. Abstract submissions use the separate disclosure field in the form; full papers also include the statement before the References. → Generative AI Author Policy
When will I receive the programme?
The programme is prepared based on accepted and registered presentations. Registered participants will receive it by email when ready.
Will there be a city activity?
Yes. A free guided tour of Oxford is included for in-person participants.
What is the working language of the conference?
English.
What about passport details for an invitation letter?
Passport details are requested only on the Invitation Letter page after registration and payment, are used only to produce the letter, are stored encrypted and are deleted after the conference. → Invitation Letter
Post-Conference & Publication
Will accepted abstracts be published?
Yes. Accepted abstracts from registered participants are published in the Conference Abstract Book with an ISBN.
Can I submit a full paper?
Yes, optionally. Full papers sent a few weeks after the conference are reviewed double-blind, and papers that meet the requirements are published in the proceedings with an ISSN and a DOI.
Are journal publication opportunities available?
Selected full papers may be considered for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals; final acceptance depends on paper quality and the decision of journal editors.
What certificates are issued, and when?
Registered participants receive a certificate of participation; presenters also receive a certificate of presentation. Certificates are issued after the conference; the schedule is communicated to participants.
Can I present online?
Yes. Choose Virtual presentation when you submit. After acceptance and registration you present live online in a 15-minute allocation; joining instructions are emailed to registered virtual presenters. Virtual participation is for presenters; Listener registration is in person only.
