About Oxford

Oxford is one of the world's best-known university cities, with centuries of academic history visible in its colleges, libraries and streets. Beyond its historic architecture it offers museums, riverside walks, independent shops and a lively food scene, all within a compact centre that is easy to explore on foot. For a conference about higher education, there are few more fitting settings. Registration for in-person participants includes a free guided tour of Oxford.
