Call for Papers & Abstracts — International Conference on Higher Education

This call for papers in higher education invites researchers, university teachers, academic leaders and doctoral students to submit abstracts for the International Conference on Higher Education, taking place in Oxford, United Kingdom, on 14–16 May 2027. Submissions may address university teaching and curriculum, assessment and academic integrity, higher education leadership and governance, university management and quality assurance, online and technology-enhanced learning, artificial intelligence in education, access and equity, student experience and success, doctoral education and academic careers, internationalisation, policy and the future of higher education. Work from any discipline and any type of institution is eligible; contributions comparing countries or systems are especially welcome. The About page describes the audience of this university teaching conference in more detail.

Higher education abstract submission is simple. Submit an abstract of 150–250 words with three to five keywords through the online form. A full paper is optional: it is not required for acceptance or presentation and can be uploaded later for the proceedings. Every abstract receives double-blind peer review by the Scientific Committee, and you will be notified of the decision by email within 7–14 business days. Accepted authors then register to confirm their presentation in an oral, poster or live virtual session.

Accepted and registered abstracts are published in the Abstract Book with an ISBN, and eligible full papers are published in the conference proceedings with an ISSN and a DOI. Dates, venue and speakers are on the higher education conference home page. The abstract submission deadline is 23 April 2027.
